How dispatch actually works

SLYDE N RESTORE is a referral and dispatch service. We are not a restoration contractor, we don't perform cleanup work, and we don't employ the crews who show up at your door. Here's exactly what we do.

STEP 01 //

You submit a request

Fill out the form with your damage type, urgency, location, and a description. Photos help contractors scope the job faster, but they're optional.

STEP 02 //

We route it to a local contractor

Your request is matched against our network of restoration contractors serving your ZIP code and damage category. We don't do the cleanup ourselves.

STEP 03 //

A contractor contacts you directly

The matched contractor reaches out using the phone or email you provided — usually to confirm details and schedule an on-site assessment.

STEP 04 //

You work with them directly

From quoting to insurance paperwork to the actual cleanup, you deal directly with the contractor. SLYDE N RESTORE isn't involved in the work itself.

The Business Model

Who pays, and who vets the contractors

It's free for homeowners

Submitting a request never costs you anything. SLYDE N RESTORE is compensated by a referral fee paid by the contractor we match you with — not by you.

Before a contractor joins our network

We require proof of applicable state licensing (where required for the trade) and active general liability insurance, and we monitor customer feedback on an ongoing basis. Licensing and insurance are always worth confirming directly with your contractor before work begins.

Your information

When you submit a request, we share the details you provide (contact info, address, damage description, and any photos) with the contractor(s) we match you to so they can quote the work. We don't sell your information to unrelated third parties.

What to ask before work begins
  • Ask to see their state license (where your trade requires one) and proof of active general liability insurance directly — don't rely on a referral alone.
  • Ask for a written scope of work and quote before any work begins, not just a verbal estimate.
  • Ask whether they bill your insurance company directly or require you to pay and submit for reimbursement.
  • Ask what standard they use to confirm drying or remediation is complete (e.g., moisture readings, clearance testing) before rebuilding.
  • Ask for an estimated start date and completion timeline in writing.
  • Ask whether contents cleaning, storage, or pack-out is included in the quote or billed separately.
